I love engagement sessions! The love that couples share gives me butterflies. I am addicted! Not only does it preserve a special time in your relationship together it gives me an opportunity to get to know my couples and how they interact together before the wedding. As well it gives them an opportunity to get used to me. It acts as the perfect trial run, so you can experience how I shoot and handle all the details that go into capturing your big day!
No matter how much you love the camera, we all need a little warming up before being the center of attention. That’s why the engagement session is the BEST way to release any nerves that you may have and get comfortable so that the posing feels natural. After all, practice makes perfect! I am all about natural moments though I know some couples need guidance (that is 100% ok!). It gives them a chance to get comfortable with me giving cues to them without the eyes of their loved ones on them. You don’t want to spend the first half of your wedding portraits learning how to relax in front of the camera, that is why my most popular packages include an engagement session.
